ACT Team: Assertive Community Treatment
The ACT model is a team-based approach to provide a range of intensive community-based services to people who experience Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and often have co-occurring substance abuse disorders. ACT teams strive to function as a psychiatric hospital without walls, helping people maintain recovery in the community and reduce psychiatric hospital and jail stays.
Group therapy
You might benefit from family therapy if:You're experiencing ongoing conflicts and want support in resolving issues, improving communication, and strengthening relationships.
You're navigating behavioral concerns, mental health challenges, or major transitions as a family unit.
You're dealing with trauma, addiction, or attachment issues that affect family relationships and want to build a more balanced home environment.
Medication management
You might benefit from medication management if:You've tried therapy alone and haven't found sufficient relief from your symptoms.
You're experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, or other conditions that may respond to medication.
You notice mood and sleep fluctuations. Hormone replacement therapy may be the answer to help regulate your changing hormone levels.
Peer support services
You might benefit from peer support services if:You're recovering from severe mental illness and want support in developing independence in your home and community.
You need help building skills like budgeting, communication, symptom management or maintaining relationships and daily routines.
You’re looking for support coordinating resources like transportation, housing, employment, or public assistance.
Substance Use Disorder Treatment (SUD)
You might benefit from substance use disorder treatment if:You're experiencing problems in your work, relationships, health, or daily functioning due to alcohol or drug use.
You've tried to cut back or quit before, but found it difficult to maintain recovery on your own.
You're facing court-mandated treatment or legal, employment, or housing consequences due to substance use.
Court-mandated services
You might benefit from court-mandated services if:
You're participating in a court diversion program or mental health court and need compliant treatment
You're facing legal consequences related to mental health or substance use issues and seeking rehabilitation
You need documentation, progress reports, or coordination with your probation officer or legal team

DUI evaluation to take approximately one hour. In many cases, a completed report can be provided the same day once all necessary documentation has been received. The BAC and/or lab results needs to be provided at the time of the appointment. Services are provided in person at our Boise office. The total fee is $150. To secure your appointment, it requires a $50 non-refundable deposit, the remaining balance of $100 is due at the time of service.
