Becca works as a CBRS provider and case manager.
Her favorite part of the job is connecting with clients and watching them grow throughout their time together.
In her free time, Becca likes to sew and paint in her craft room and play video games.
Outside of working, Becca is a graduate student working towards her Masters degree in social work, and works at the Idaho Crisis and Suicide Hotline as a phone responder.
For self care, Becca likes to utilize her own mental health supports and go on walks with her fiancé and her dog.
Joseph graduated from Ashford University with dual degrees in Social and Criminal Justice and Psychology. Joseph provides Case Management, CBRS, and Peer Support services to the clients at HSI.
He takes great satisfaction in his position knowing he is making a difference in the lives of others. Whether it is working with clients, volunteering at his children's school, or maintaining his family's Little Free Library, Joseph takes pride in positively contributing to the Boise community.
In his free time, Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Together they spend a lot of time in the outdoors; camping, kayaking, and adventuring. He also enjoys wood-working and reading.
As a disabled Army veteran, Joseph is a strong advocate of overcoming limitations. He believes that personal strength can be channeled through mental clarity.
His favorite self care activity is fly-fishing, which according to Joseph, provides him stress relief and a heightened peace of mind.
Andra has a degree in Human Services Management.
She has worked as a QIDP, Target Service Coordinator, Case Manager, CBRS, RBT (Registered Behavior Tech.).
Her favorite part of doing her job, is that she is not indoors locked up in a office, and likes to meet with her clients in different environments. Andra was a foster care provider and a CASA volunteer in Denton Texas. When Andra is no working she enjoys working with her hands making crafts, baking with one of her sons, camping, fishing and just being in the mountains.
She really enjoys spending time with her boys, and family game night with her extended family.
Andra's self care is binge watching some old TV shows with her husband and playing with her German Shepard.
Lucy is a CBRS/Case Manager at HSI. She has a Bachelors in Fine Arts and even has a few documentaries on PBS. Her favorite part of her job is working with those who have less than us and need our help. She enjoys volunteering at Corpus Christi.
When Lucy is not working or volunteering she enjoys to go for a swim or hike. Lucy's self care looks like, watching her favorite tv shows and going to concerts.
Yanely Hurtado, BS works in our community based services. Yanely/Nelly specializes in case management/ CBRS and liaison, specifically working with Catch.
Yanely’s favorite part of the job is working as a team and enjoys watching individuals grow and achieve the things the want and need.
When Yanely is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys being outdoors.
Yanely also enjoys engaging in Photography as her side hobby.
Jessica Razer, BA works in our Community Based Services and our Substance Use Disorder Program specializing in Case Management. Jessica’s education is based on lived experience and academic experience focused in recovery and digital culture.
Jessica’s favorite part of the job is supporting participants in accomplishing their goals so that they can focus on doing the things they enjoy.
Outside of work, she enjoys playing board games with her family, painting and playing music.
Jessica also works with an artist/organization assisting previously incarcerated people with reentry through art.
Jessica’s favorite self-care practices are playing video games, running and cooking.
