Denise uses her tumultuous past experiences with sobriety to help others on the journey to recovery. She understands that the stigma surrounding addiction often silences voices and stifles hope. She attended TVCC’s Addiction Studies program and became a certified Recovery Coach, followed by an internship at Restoring Hope. The same day she took and passed her SUDA exam, she joined the HSI team in 2023. Now, after overcoming her own struggles, she helps others by passing on lessons of courage and resilience. Denise believes in the power of education and communication, guiding clients through their recovery journey with empathy and humor. Her story underscores the uniqueness of each recovery path and the strength within every individual to overcome addiction's challenges. She is passionate about teaching others and advocating for men’s mental health.
